Yes, export to svg is very good idea.

Now I am rewriting this editor.
The interface of the editor will base on app.js library, and work with areas will base on new library.

And then I will add some new features to the editor including export to svg-string (not a file, because it is impossible without server side). And, maybe, I will add support bezier curves.

the second This Open Source is the best one that I ever found in web keep it up 👍

because I need it to create website dealing with interactive map floor plan
and the SVG is the best for responsive design

I will be waiting this update to make it happen
