You could try the simple approach of adding an ampersand "&" to the end od
the command line. This should detach the airsonos process from the current
terminal and push it in the background. The better approach would be to
use/create a start/stop script but I don't know whethwr there is one
already.

instatiate and find all my sonos gear (x6 speakers), but, when i close the
SSH session airsonos stops running too!how do i work around this ?

Another (somewhat hacky) solution would be to open up a tmux session, run airsonos with it, and leave the tmux session open when you closeout your ssh session. Would enable you to jump back into the tmux session to start/stop at will.
