display pairing key shows nothing about php-lg-smarttv HOT 9 CLOSED

Sorry! I did not run the code on my TV… So I don’t really know..

If you type a wrong key of 6 digits (ex: 668887) the tv will display the correct one.
If this didn't work check if the ipv4 of the tv is correct.

I have the same problem also. Typing a wrong key also didn't work. Does this work for new webOS tvs? Thanks.

Maybe you have remote connection disabled on your smart tv?

I also have the same issue, i cannot connect to my tv, and I have remote connection enabled. i am running the latest WebOS

i tryed all python and this git for Smart tv LG WebOs 3 (2014).

displayParingKey() doesn't work with me as well. Is there an answer to this problem? Pairing is enabled and the IP is correct.

Check whether you are able to connect to the device (e.g. Do you see some text when connecting to http://YOUR_IP:8080 on the browser?) and whether the TV version is supported (LG Smart TV models released in 2012 and 2013).
