Statistics Poland created an open source prototype delivering a dashboard for the data analysis of population time use during the European Big Data Hackathon 2019 organised by the European Commission (Eurostat).
The best prototype of the mobile application developed during the Hackathon "ShowMeData" organized by Statistics Poland. The goal of the statistical programming marathon was to select the best prototype of an interactive web or mobile application that would creatively illustrate the Hackathon leitmotiv: "See how statistics describe the world around you using numbers".
The 'bdl' package, prepared by Statistics Poland, is an interface to Local Data Bank (Bank Danych Lokalnych - bdl) API with set of useful tools like quick plotting and generating maps using data from data bank. Information about how to use this tool is included in R help documentation.
