Why did we switch align plugins? Would it be better to switch back or to unmap the shortcuts?

Either works for me. We probably don't need that entire plugin when we only map 1 shortcut.

This should no longer be a problem for new maximum-awesome users. The vimrc.local that gets copied has a call to AlignMapsClean that will remove the offending mapping during the first run.
For existing users (before a month or two ago) they should be able to simply run :AlignMapsClean from within vim to fix it.
