Thanks for reporting! Seen this pop up a few times, not sure how it's happening. I think we're switching over to vundle anyways so this will be moot. See #56 and #45

fyi, it worked by adding sudo on each of the command
sudo git clone maximum awesome & sudo .. & sudo rake

Huh strange. What was your working directory when you ran it?

It was the root directory of my user account. Ya it was strange because it did execute partially before

hmm, very strange! glad it worked this time and that should be all cleared up after the switch to Vundle.
