clipboard from a tmux session doesn't is not working for me either

I was able to get this working by using a newer version of vim and ensuring my $PATH was set so that the newer vim came first (i.e. /usr/local/bin comes before /usr/bin). I'm using VIM - Vi IMproved 7.3 with Included patches: 1-923 from Homebrew.

Is it just me, or when I do Cmd-C it actually cuts the text? With "normal" vi it didn't used to do that...

@peetersn "normal" vi shouldn't do anything with Cmd-C. Nor does it with maximum-awesome on my machine.

I can get this to work while using VIM 7.4, installed via homebrew.

I'm also using homebrew VIM 7.4 and it seems to work as expected.

There seems to be a pretty clear workaround/solution here. My guess is that the real problem is that people don't have ~/bin in their PATH and so the alias set up pointing to MacVim's vim binary is not being used. Closing.
