Hi Niklaus,

If it works correctly on commandline but incorrectly in the IDE then it may indeed be some bug in the IDE.
However this isn't the right place for a bug report. Please go to our Jira issue tracker instead:
https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS

Also please try to provide as clear a description of the problem and how to reproduce it as possible.
I will look into it for sure but I don't have time to wade through the history of your other report and try to synthesize a good description of the issue and a recipe to reproduce.

So what I'd like you to do is attach a small sample project for me to import into Eclipse with the tooling and some detailed instructions how precisely to import it (what options are selected in the wizard).

Then tell me exactly what is wrong with the result (i.e. difference between expected / actual behavior) and also some steps to verify the commandline produces the expected behavior.

I will then go and debug to try and figure out where the discrepancy is coming from.

... and also some steps to verify the commandline produces the expected behavior.

Actually scrap that. This part is obvious enough that you don't have to explain.

I will have a deeper look into this, if I find some more time to do so.
By now I realized that the problem actually can occur on the commandline also. It seems that gradle actually generates the right content (and also the gradle plugin in eclipse generated it correctly), but eclipse messes up things when refreshing the project (or the workspace)

Okay that would be great. Raise a Jira ticket when you have more details available.
