Hi, it works out of the box. CVV is disabled by default in sandbox braintree account. It can be enabled with this steps: https://articles.braintreepayments.com/guides/fraud-tools/avs-cvv#enabling-avs-and-cvv-rules
About second problem: on screenshot there is a white button (below edit) if I see correctly? Might it be that it is the 'settle' button?

Thanks for info on CVV.
When I click on the settle button, the credit card state changes to completed but the summary section is still showing "balance due" and I can't ship the product.
is there another setting that I need to know for this?

#51 fixes updating state and problem with display for master. I will make the same for 3-0-stable tomorrow.
