Problems with query/metrics API about heroic HOT 2 CLOSED

The current behavior is expected. We basically do two things: we round up intervals to the closet aggregation bucket, and we also shift the range slightly if it's too close to now to allow some time for the metrics to arrive. This means that your queries might look different depending on timing. We do this because it fits better our use of Heroic.

Having said that, we acknowledge that this may be confusing and not what you would expect to happen. We have discussed it internally, and we believe it would make sense to add a feature flag that could be added to the configuration or the query to enable this behavior. This way, we could use a default behavior that is more intuitive for the user.
