This has something to do with the PPAPI plug-in architecture used in Chrome. I
will investigate when I get a chance.

Hi Spikything,
Did you get anywhere with this? MouseWheelTrap seems to be the only reliable
solution out there, and now it doesn't work in Chrome...

Hi, the solution is to have a callback from Javascript to Flash and forge a
ScrollEvent manually. Look here:
http://www.libspark.org:6666/svn/as3/SWFWheel/trunk/src/org/libspark/ui/SWFWheel
.as and here:
http://flassari.is/2012/08/mouse-scroll-wheel-in-flash-not-working-in-chrome/
function triggerMouseEvent has to be called from Chrome Javascript

Did you resolve the problem?

No. I think the architecture that Chrome uses for the Flash plugin now means I will need to find another way to do this :/
