No, but I'd like to have 0.3 ready in time for Xcode 5.1's release. It would be great to have @petejkim's OK to go ahead and roll releases as appropriate.

I think it's best if we went with a one-two-punch of 0.2.4 and 0.3.0 at the same time then, to please the gods of semver and @tonyarnoldsrage. #60 doesn't seem urgent and can go into a 0.4.0 or whatevs.

petejkim avatar petejkim commented on July 23, 2024

so the difference between 0.2.4 and 0.3.0 would be the GC-support?

from expecta.

robb avatar robb commented on July 23, 2024

Yeah. I'm not sure if anyone is actually using GC but if they are, they could use 0.2.4 and have as much of the new stuff as possible.

If there's anything else for 0.3.0 I'm all for it, but I'm with @tonyarnold that it should come out in time for Xcode 5.1

Mhh, I didn't see that podspec was part of the repo. I bumped it in 43dc413 , sorry @petejkim

@robb, for future reference, rather than hardcoding the version twice into the podspec, set s.version properly, and then use :tag => "#{s.version}" inside s.source. There's no functional difference, but it's easier to update.

I just quickly patched it, you're totally right Tony

tonyarnold avatar tonyarnold commented on July 23, 2024

Hahaha, me too. I also updated a number of the missing fields and other updated formats. It all passes lint now — want to submit it to the main spec repo?

Talking about podspec... :)

The podspec is not updated in the cocoapods specs repo, the last version is 0.2.3.

I was going to create the PR, but I think it's better first to check with you guys if any further modification needs to be done.

Other than that, I can create the PR with the current podspec, if that's ok for you.
