The Data to Policy Project website is live: https://library.auraria.edu/d2pproject
Our first event will be Friday April 27th 2018. In the Fall of 2018, we're adding affordable housing as a issue students can investigate and propose policies for. For more details, contact Shea Swauger on twitter @sheaswauger or [email protected].

Hey @sheaswauger - as I mentioned yesterday, I'm very excited about your ideas for extending the impact and utility of D2P. I'm committed to another project today, but I'd REALLY like highlight D2P in the context of my project, Radian. I'll try to speak to you about this in person today, so this request makes a bit more sense 🐱 🎆 :

Things we're working on now:

Develop a strategy to continue to identify and solicit participation from

  • Students
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Legislators
  • community partners

Develop a system to identify the next most pressing and viable topic for the D2P to take on after policing

Methodology

  • How to make sure we ask questions the COMMUNITY cares about, not what we think they care about?
  • Make this reproducible and scalable at other institutions

Hey @sheaswauger - hope your travel was uneventful. Just to say that I would like to jump in at some point (as we chatted about) to discuss the curricular intersections....
