I agree, this would be very usefull.
Maybe the addition of properties like
in a row by hitting a space key?
Best regards...

It is essential for a presentation that objects/slides change their visibility!
Thanks - Sozi is awesome!

You can change all aspects of any object with Javascript.
Either interactive or event / timer based, e.g. with element.setAttribute(...

Although JS programming might not be very user friendly.

Hello Incense,
...sorry, even if I feel like a moron:
Would someone mind to give me a short full example for this?
I do not get it to work... if I insert the code and try to debug it,
nothing happens as expected.
Sorry and thanx

I have proposed a Javascript-based workaround in this conversation:
#57
New attributes can be added to the SVG document, as proposed by tageloehner.
But I am still wondering how make a user-friendly user interface for this feature.

Hi,
I'm currently working on this but need some input from senshu regarding
plugin development - he is not very responsive atm. ;-)
I would really like to work with somebody on this. My contributions are
mainly player based (which is Javascript) and adding some AngularJS code
infrastructure for better slide and template handling, which is already
available in real presentation software.
I did not committed into my fork since I'm building a demo and did not
manage to finish it yet.

So, what about this? This incremental changing a "slide" is often
requested here. And everyone posts working javascript code.. any chance
this will get implemented within the gui the next years?Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHubhttps://github.com//issues/33#issuecomment-33679801

Hi,
In fact this has been a frequent request and I must admit that I have not worked on this feature for various reasons.
Since the first release of Sozi, it was clear that the Inkscape extension system would not permit to provide a good user experience for the basic use case of Sozi (i.e. editing frames). In this context, I have been reluctant to add new features that would not fit easily in the existing user interface. I have come to the conclusion that the editor must be rewritten from scratch and made independent from Inkscape. I have started working on a new editor where it should be easier to implement this feature.
The second reason why I did not implement this feature is simple: I have never really needed it! Until now, in my own presentations, I have managed to achieve the desired effect using layers. It works well if you don't have many objects that appear or disappear.

In Sozi 15, layer opacity allows to achieve a similar effect as showing/hiding objects.
Please try Sozi 15 and open a new issue if you think that your problem still deserves to be addressed.
