Is it an "Account Activity API" environment?
Yes.
Does the app have DM permissions?
Yes.
Did you copy the keys / tokens over correctly?
Unknown, since none of the key names displayed in Twitter quite match
the config. It does prompt me with the correct app name/description,
though, so I assume the authentication flow is at least started correctly.
Did you set up the reverse-proxy? Is it serving a valid https certificate?
I'd assume so. I used the Ansible Docker playbooks, and everything else
seems to work OK.
So the only unknown here is whether I set up the keys correctly.
Has anyone gone through this procedure recently enough and if so, are
you able to match Twitter and config terminology? (I.e. nowhere is
there a consumer key displayed in the Twitter UI. There are various
API keys, but none says "consumer".)

Did you configure your reverse-proxy? Did you set up the environment parameter?

I did set up the account activity environment at https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/environments. Unfortunately, entering the label into the environment field didn't work for me. :(

i have also tried to connect Matrix with Twitter.
The first step was, that i create an APP and then an Actitivity API here: https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/environments
But the Bot tells me: disconnected!: failed to connect. TypeError: Cannot read property 'unsubscribe' of null
