Trying to download from echo360.org.au about echo360 HOT 3 CLOSED

This issue is related to this issue where your institution is using echo360 cloud (an online platform) instead of using institution's own system (hosting themselves).

Due to the way this downloader works, it is currently targeted to the latter (echo360 hosted by institutions themselves) because they don't usually provide download links. Whereas if I understand correctly echo360 cloud usually provide download links already. I have planned to support echo360 cloud too in the future, but doesn't have time to invest in it as of yet.

In the mean time, you can check out this chrome extension which is targeted to echo360 cloud and seems to work fine. Let me know how it goes!

Echo360 cloud doesn't currently provide links, I believe this is an option that the institution/instructor can select.

I tried GeckoDM, but it only catches a single video from each lecture.

My solution at the moment is to use use JDownloader to phrase the source of each lecture page, which finds multiple streams in HD & SD, which are accessible externally, I assume the student id is embeded in the link itself.

Thanks for letting me know about it! I didn't realise it's an option that institution sets (but totally make sense).

If Jdownloader works then this script probably will be able to adopt to capture that link and download the videos as well. It is just that without an account in echo360 cloud (my uni uses hosts their own), it is almost impossible for me to debug and make it work.
