I've added an example matches.init.txt file in kermit/example.results. The format is pretty simple:

<matches1>
<matches2>
...
<matchesN>

where each represents a set of feature matches between a pair of images, and has the format:

<img1> <img2>
<numMatches>
<match1>
<match2>
...
<matchK>

where and are 0-based indices into the list.txt file (i.e., two image indices), numMatches is the number of feature matches, and each has two indices into the first and second images' feature files.
