Hi... what version of maven are you using? And what version of the jdk? If it's in the above then I missed it... sorry :)

I did not include it, sorry

Jdk Version 6 Update 32
maven 3.0.4

Pls note, I also did not mvn install in the root directory.

In other words, what I really wanted to do is not to compile/install the root directory -- -but instead just get the examples working. So my hope was that when I build the examples, they will automatically download all the necessary artifacts, however, I ran into an error where it could download that testres thing.

Sorry for not replying to this. Hmmm.... we must not be deploying
testres to maven. Try building just testres and installing it locally
before building the examples, or, try building the examples without
running the tests.

Hi, building testes and installing it locally works. I just did: mvn install from the root. That installed the testres locally and the the rest worked. The problem was only if I tried to run examples and pull all the dependencies from the public maven.

thank you

Right... and the problem there is that we must not be deploying testres
to maven. Thanks for letting us know.
