I'm unable to replicate this problem. What version of Emacs are you
using? Does it happen when you use Elfeed without loading your
configuration (emacs -Q)? It will still use your database so long as
it's in the standard location. If you clone the Elfeed repository you
can test it by running Emacs like so:
emacs -Q -L . -l elfeed.el

Hum ... no problem when doing emacs -Q; I am using emacs 25.0.50.1.
After some investigation, I have realized I have set elfeed-search--offset to 10 (copy-paste error), which makes the first few entries behave weird. Fixed now, thanks.
