I recently tripped on this too. It turns out that jQuery keeps some internal state with animations, queueing them or whatever. If you start animations that you don't allow to run to completion in a test, then further animations won't trigger as expected. Any suggestion as to how to make this work smoothly? Maybe clock.restore() could make sure to call all pending timers?

I still haven't found a way to solve this. I'm using the waits() method in jasmine to bypass of now. But how do you sugest to use the clock.restore()? I was already using it in the afterEach method with no success.

You can usually solve it by calling clock.tick(ms) where ms is some number high enough to make all animations finish. My idea was that maybe clock.reset could do that for you. However, that may cause it to never finish, as timers that add timers would of course continue endlessly...

This isn't a Sinon problem, closing.
