onProgress function returns NaN or Infinity although file is downloaded. about electron-dl HOT 6 CLOSED

Do you have an URL I can reproduce it with?

I guess it might be caused by the server not sending content-length header, so item.getTotalBytes() returns 0 ornull, which causes the NaN, but that's just a guess.

I just checked.. It's sending me content-length = 14295983

Try to do some logging here with console.log(receivedBytes, completedBytes, totalBytes);.

I'm seeing this too. Confirmed that a valid content-length header is being returned. Electron is returning 0 on item.getTotalBytes(), but Chrome can show a progress bar when downloading from the same URL. Could be an Electron issue.
