Bookworm is a .NET web application which allows you to review books, have a unique profile and gain insight into other books that you might be interested in. This insight is gained using a recommender system which makes use of a machine learning algorithm from an open-sourced tool called MyMediaLite. Its architecture is designed using 5 layers, with MVC making up the first three layers followed by a service layer and a repository layer which carry out all database interactions

Java based application with angular front end that was created over 2.5 days as part of a coding challenge for the Brightflag interview process. It also includes unit tests for the backend. The application was successful and led to an interview which subsequently led to being considered a strong hire. I decided to take a different position.

This application was created as my final project for a course in Tech University Dublin on the Foundations and Artificial Intelligence. The project was done in Python and Jupiter Notebooks and made use of libraries such as Sklearn, Pandas, Spacy, re (regular expression), Matplotlib and the time library as well. The result of the project and my final grade was 73%.

An application that interacts with kindle to extract and parse highlights from books on the device. Currently working on the backend which is made up of spring boot and will have a windows service. An angular project will be created for the front end and will communicate with the backend using a proxy.

This was an assignment I did for my 4th year compilers module. The aim of this assignment was to implement a lexical and syntax analyser using JavaCC for a language called CCAL which would carry out part of the compilation process for this language. Mark Obtained: 87%

This project was created by Simon Lowry and Shunta Minaguchi for our 3rd Year Project, Computer Applications, DCU. Comprised of a website, application and database for Motorsport Ireland's Karting Divisions. The backend code was done by myself, the remainder by Shunta.
