The issue wasn't sidekiq but rather the file reading part on config/cascade_conf/soi.conf
from sidekiq.
Initially, I thought the issue was the issue with the file, but now I see that it runs once and after that, it just stops running.
When I run it from the controller, it runs without any issues, but then it doesn't run after the first time.
I appreciate any help!

That's not supported functionality, sidekiq-schedule is a 3rd party plugin.

Thanks @mperham I'm not using sidekiq-schedule gem though and as mentioned I have to workers, EmailSenderWorker works fine while the other one doesn't
from sidekiq.
Ah, I misread the code. I don't know why it's not running. Maybe you need to restart Sidekiq to pick up new code?
from sidekiq.
Yes I've done that as well. Just a quick question. Is there any limits on how many scheduled workers one can have with free sidekiq?
from sidekiq.
There are no limits. If there were, you could just remove them. It's open source.
