Cannot activate inactive headless sales channel about shopware HOT 5 OPEN

I'd like to contribute to that issue with a pull request as far as my possibilities allow but I'm not yet very familiar with the Shopware codebase.
Is there an appropriate existing test suite to which I could add a failing test for that bug?

thanks for the issue. I was wondering that we have such logic in the API but it is just a client validation.

When you search for such errors, the message is a good point to start. Just search for the error message over the whole code and you will find it here.

Afterwards you can copy the message key and search for this, to find the place where it will be used, i found it here

It seems that the validation comes from the administration.

IMO the validation makes only sense for storefront sales channels.
