String.replace() is not global about velocity.js HOT 2 CLOSED

This is the difference between js and java, Maybe you can add an util function, or rewrite the String.prototype.replace method.

Java implements global substitutions by default. To imitate this behavior in Javascript we can escape special characters and then use a global regex pattern.
