Local BrowserSync IP is overridden in Jekyll when custom permalinks are set about jekyll-gulp-sass-browser-sync HOT 5 CLOSED

I tried setting baseurl and host in my _config.yml, but to no avail.

I'm not sure what you mean - permalinks or not, the URL from <a href="{{ post.url }}">{{ post.title }}</a> should start with / - unless you've set a hostname in jekyll somewhere?

Nope. Just setting a custom permalink triggers the behavior. Confirmed in your boilerplate repo as well.
