Preferences got deleted when addon updated about chameleon HOT 5 OPEN

Mine's been deleted about 5 times now and it's not with updates. The only consistency I have identified is that I add a site with some preferences, and then they are wiped. It only happens to Chameleon, no other addons.

Thanks for reporting this. I'll look into this angle further. Seems like a bug with how settings are being saved then.

@e-t-l Just noticed you also requested support for Firefox sync. If I recall correctly, this is straightforward to implement. Should have that done soon barring any surprises.

I tried updating from v0.22.42 to v0.22.43 and couldn't replicate this issue. Was Chameleon the only addon that was affected?

Thank you for trying to replicate it. Yes, Chameleon was the only addon affected. I've been wracking my brain for anything else that might have caused it to lose its userdata.

I've just encountered this same problem today for the first time, on LibreWolf not Firefox, the extension works fine on the latter. Restarting the browser cured the issue, which was fine as I only had a few tabs open, but it wouldn't be so convenient at other tomes when I have more tabs and windows open.
