In fact the turtle parser assuems there's a prologue block with @base and @Prefix definitions in. That's not right at all, they can appear anywhere in the turtle file and apply to subsequent data only.

Confirming that we are not able to parse turtle files with an @base directive. This is a problem since many ttl files include it. Can this be addressed?

Hi, as far as i know ARC2 is not actively developed anymore, but pull requests are welcome though :)

Not tested, but maybe hardf is worth a shot? Its a lightweight parser and serializer for N3, turtle and nquad files.

Thanks @k00ni! I see hardf is based on Ruben's N3.js. Small world...

We'll see how we go with ARC2 as it is. We can probably live without having this issue fixed (we are mostly interested in generating triples from non-RDF data using ARC2, not parsing turtle generated elsewhere) but if we do address this issue, we will certainly raise a Pull Request!
