In Detail:
The gerbil.nif.transfer dependency in qa.hawk is still using the jena versions 3.1.0 which do not have the ReaderRIOTRDFXML implemented.
Maven somehow always uses the older version in the dependency tree (thus 3.1.0 and not 3.6.0 even if you explicitly use the newer version) which lead to the Error.

Fixed it by excluding the dependency from the nif.transfer dependency
