Hi ghost, sorry about the problems. For now the solution is just to use an older version of SelfControl (I believe they are still posted online, if not let me know and I'll repost)
Unfortunately development for PPC computers is becoming a major hassle at this point, because Apple has disabled support for PPC compiling in the latest version of Xcode. According to the Omni Group, only 2.3% of users still have a PPC computer, and this number will continue to drop.
I'll look into whether there is an easy, maintainable workaround to add support, but I don't expect that to work out. At the least though we should mention the incompatibility in the update log so users can choose not to upgrade.
