Hey Jan,

I like this. I think this is a good opportunity to fix the way we handle pageviews in general. I gotta work a few things out, but this is definitely something we want to do soon.

Thanks for taking care of this Ian.

I found this checkbox on the GA integration:

Track an initial pageview when the page first loads.
It's enabled by default, but you might not want this if you're using a single-page app.

That reads to me as if pageviews are still tracked, but only the very first one is not. Could you clarify?

sorry, what that means is that the "initial" pageview on each page (the ones google automatically tracks) will not be tracked anymore. that will effectively remove all pageviews from GA (unless you're specifically calling pageview in analytics.js)
