It was developed with themes in mind, but shouldn't be hard to implement in a plugin. There may need to be a few tweaks to the code, for example in huh.php it references get_stylesheet_directory_uri() here (this should probably be changed to a more universal directory approach anyway).
Including it in a theme or plugin is as simple as adding a require to the main class file and passing the URL of the markdown file.
