Are you sure that you have an up-to-date edts? EDTS now uses webmachine 1.10.1 which should be compatible with R16

yep, I just cloned the repo again and it has the same error, I'll have a look at what web machine issue lists has because it might be solved in there

I've had same problem on R16. For me upgrading edst solved it, but there is also a simple work around (which I had to use before upgrade): there is compile flag set in WebMachine rebar.config file that causes all warning to be treated as errors. Deleting this flag will allow you to compile whole thing without a problem.
