The reason we had pinned the colorize
gem was because of its change in behavior when detecting whether it was outputting to a TTY. Since haml-lint
was used by other applications that depended on this behavior (i.e. not printing color escape sequences when piping to another application), we pinned it to an earlier version.
However, this obviously wasn't ideal. I've finally found some time to refactor haml-lint
to not require the colorize
gem at all. The dependency was removed in a27da5c.
Thanks for the report!
