So I tried on a different computer, did not get this exception but a different one. Maybe it can help figure out whats going on. I looked at the code of the Unity demo, and this should be a good copy of creating the vertices and the faces.
Update: I tried to pass an invalid mesh and I do get an invalid mesh exception when I pass something invalid. Must be somewhere in the dll?

Did some more testen, It looks like the program I use has vertices multiple times, where I needed to deduplicate these vertices in order to build the faces. It looks like CGAL is not happy with this otherwise.
The GetPoints function takes about 10 seconds to run. Any tips on that? Whereas GetTriangleIncides is instant. 36017 vertices and 222258 indices.
