What error are you getting?
I tried it on my system and works fine.

@esc your ipython version is not the newest (2.x) and your Python version is 2.7 where print was not a function, but a statement and it seems that they are not objects - though I'm not really sure of that.

If you try with python 3 that should work.

Yeah, last year it was an issue. I was teaching with the notes and people were having issues with this. Perhaps it is no longer relevant?
