Added simplification for dot(a,b)
so that the cwise operation only has one argument if a===b
. It's not perfectly optimal to check for input equality each time, but if you're using blas reasonably, maybe the overhead is so negligible that this style is perfectly fine. The alternative is obviously just doing this declaratively with separate functions (see: ndarray-ops#norm2squared).
