Minifyiing JS using Google Closure Compiler fails because of missing goog.provide about twig.js HOT 2 CLOSED

You either need to include all files necessary for compilation or use the compiled twig.js file in the root folder.

We’re already importing the twig.js compiled file.
The problem is that twig.js doesn’t provide "twig" and "twig.filter" and, since generated templates are using goog.require declarations, it fails compilation by Google Closure Compiler (we’re using that compiler to minify our JavaScript).

Shouldn’t the twig.js provide thoses objects ?

To fix the problem, in our build system, we’re adding thoses 3 lines in front of the twig.js file so Google Closure Compiler isn’t complaining anymore :

    goog.provide("twig");
    goog.provide("twig.filter");
}

The first line is to make it work when code is not minified (like in development).
