Is this working with abstract keys? I have tried with an abstract key and this gives me an exception :
An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Unable to choose a translation.") in "DtdCatalogueBundle::cart.html.twig" at line 9.

I assume that you have not yet extracted the description? We might need to wrap these calls in an extra function for dev environment to handle this case.
