The checker crashed in custom checks, in interlab.py at the part of the code screenshotted below

Below is the revised code. Before the revisions, there were datetime operations being done on the testdateendtime/starttime fields. However it is not safe to assume that those fields will be pandas time objects. 99% of the time, time fields are submitted to us as varchar fields, meaning those fields were strings.

Since we were trying to check the time difference between those two fields, that was why we got the error message “unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'str' and 'str'”

Below I convert the columns to pandas timestamps before checking the difference. Keep in mind this doesn’t permanently change the columns, but just temporarily to check the time difference
