Please is this problem version 1.49 specific or has it been behaving in this
manner before Backtrack r3..

it has been an issue in 1.48 which is the earliest version i have tested it on
and yes it has occurred in backtrack 5 R2

Tested it on Backtrack 5.Everything seemed to work fine.. except communication
between the dhcp server and fake AP which i just fixed. From your error output,
are you sure you inputed a valid key when using the WEP.. Most WEP key values
are usually hexadecimal.
But as for the access point creation. it creates them without any problem..
