Hello! My name is Savar Sinha, and I am a computer science undergraduate student at Caltech primarily interested in quantum computing.

In the past, I have also participated in several computational biology projects under Professor Wideman at Arizona State University and Dr. Chaudhuri at Washington University in St Louis. The publications produced during these research projects are shown below.

Research Publications:

Savar Sinha's Projects

c-data-structures icon c-data-structures

This repo provides C implementations for various different data structures that are commonly employed in programming. I based the choice of structures roughly off of those which I learned in my data structures course at Caltech. To challenge myself, I wanted to see if I could implement these structures in C rather than Java resulting in this repo

ising-model icon ising-model

This repo features several different Ising model implementations in MATLAB

mnist-cnn-example icon mnist-cnn-example

The MNIST dataset is a set of 28x28 drawn images of numbers between 0-9. A common exercise is to use convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to create a model capable of identifying the numbers pictured.

plant-village-tomato icon plant-village-tomato

This repository contains an implementation of a CNN which predicts the disease that a tomato plant has based on a picture of one of its leaves. Images were obtained from the PlantVillage dataset.

qiskit-quantum-computing icon qiskit-quantum-computing

This is a repository of notebooks with slightly modified code examples from Qiskit's Quantum Computing Textbooks found on https://qiskit.org/learn.
