Howdy!

I haven't tried running in Docker, but it sounds like the problem is that the WIC API isn't available. Unfortunately the dependence on WIC, which is a component of Windows, makes MagicScaler less portable than many .NET Core libraries. There may be a way to package WIC in a Docker container, but again, it's not something I have any experience with.

I'll leave this issue open and do a bit a research when I have time so I can say one way or another whether it's something that can be supported. And do let me know if you find anything out yourself.

Had a chance to look this morning, and it appears there aren't any Docker images that contain the required WIC components. MagicScaler won't work in Docker unless/until that changes or unless/until I can replace the WIC dependency with platform-native codecs and color management.
