Doesn't work on Windows; breaks downstream dependencies. about npm-install-security-check HOT 6 CLOSED

@XaserAcheron would love your input on how to make this thing work on Windows as well. I don't personally use Windows or even have a Windows box to develop/test against.

@XaserAcheron I just published a new version, 1.0.1, which uses a node script instead of bash. Let me know if this updated version is Windows compliant.

Heh, you beat me to it!

Almost there -- since the script's a preinstall, the cli-color dependency isn't getting added in time so I'm getting a cannot find module 'cli-color' error.

The original issue is gone now though -- works fine if I install cli-color manually so that's the Windows scariness out of the way.

Okay changed it to a postinstall script and published version 1.0.2. I hope this one does the trick. Thanks for filing the Github issue and working with me. Sorry I broke things.
