[BUG] - Getting error on windows about pwa-kit HOT 5 CLOSED

Would it be possible for you to create our demo project, and see if that's successful? You can do it using npx pwa-kit-create-app --preset retail-react-app-demo

It'll also help to know the versions or your windows, node, and npm. Thanks!

I'm getting the same error with both presets retail-react-app and retail-react-app-demo. The error is also reproducible with the windows subsystem and with Git Bash emulator. The error is present in older versions, I've tested 2.0.0-dev, 1.3.0, 1.2.0.

(retail-react-app) throws error after getting the answers, as given below,

and (retail-react-app-demo) throws same error straight away

Thank you, @a1sultan and @pavelkukov, for reporting this issue with the App Generator.

I confirm the team was able to identify that the generator fails when it's run using WSL from a Windows file system folder mounted in /mnt/... The team is currently looking into potential solutions.

As a workaround, I suggest using the Windows Command shell or PowerShell to generate projects on Windows or if you want to use WSL, I recommend running the generator from a native Unix folder like the home directory /home/<username>.
