Looks like the restriction error: type parameters must be declared prior to const parameters was relaxed in 1.59:

I'll add rust-version = "1.59" to cargo.toml to make the minimum required version explicit. I think requiring close to 3mo old stable Rust is reasonable for Ascent.

what version of Rust are you using? I'm using the latest stable and it's working fine for me.
