What reader are you using, and does it have the correct keys/configuration for the card you are using?

I’m this case I was testing with an Axis A8207 network door reader. Not sure how to setup secure mode.

This is a door station, it is a CP, that connects to an OSDP reader, it then communicates over Ethernet to a centralised application, there isn’t a card reader in this unit (based on the part number you have provided.)

It is a reader and supports both Wiegand and OSDP.
Originally I was using this device to connect to a Lenel box using wiegand. Now I’m testing with a device that will act as a CP.
I did a bit more digging with the code and was able to poll my reader and get card data back.

I am sorry from the part number you are giving me this is not a reader, you need a configured device such as a A4020-E to read cards, loaded with the correct keys to read EV2, or configured to read the card UID.

It is a reader and it is reading my cards. Yes it’s a product that is not available anymore, but it IS a card reader/camera reader

I have MKVMII here. So you have to run it on 12vdc not poe?

Did not need the 12v. Reader was powered by POE. I only connected A/B and ground for it to work.

Would you be able to share how to poll and retrieve the data, as there is no example available.
I'm trying to read the card using an Axis A4020-E Reader, but no luck so far.
