Postgres Adaptor about ruckusing-migrations HOT 3 CLOSED

Correct, I dont have any docs on writing new adapters. I've been playing with Postgres recently so I was going to take a whack at an adapter, but if you got the wherewithal, by all means.

I can try to write up some notes / docs on implementing new adapters, but it will probably be a few days.

At a bare minimum it would be implementing the

Ruckusing_iAdapter

interface. In looking at the code there are some MySQL-specific items in

Ruckusing_TableDefinition

which should be generic, but its not. So I didnt implement that cleanly enough. Looks like more work will be necessary to get this going correctly.

I'll try and get it the table definition cleaned up and work on some docs.

Looking forward to the docs and updated code. I'm still learning the API so it might be a while before I feel comfortable extending the API. Ideally scenario would be that you have the cycles to write a Postgres Adaptor. However, I can take a shot once I am comfortable with the various APIs.

Postgres support was just added. In config/database.inc.php you can set a type = pgsql and the Postgres adapter will be used.
