I think that makes sense: if you care about displaying only certain blocks (for example for reading) you only care about that; on the other hand, if you want the average of all blocks, you can avoid specifying -n and grep the last line.

Mostly, I just can't think of any use case where one would want a summary of only the displayed blocks. The only time I can think of a summary being useful is when it's a summary of the codebase as a whole. For large codebases, filtering the output is practically a necessity, otherwise the output is incredibly noisy. Barring the first time you analyze a codebase or after major refactoring, you almost never want to see the result for every block.

You got a point there. But I don't want to modify the current behavior of --average. I'm considering adding a new option, like --total-average. What do you think?
