I'm having the same issue. Here's the code for my worker:

from rq import Worker, Queue, Connection

listen = ['default']

redis_url = 'redis://localhost:6379'

conn = redis.from_url(redis_url)

if __name__ == '__main__':
    with Connection(conn):
        worker = Worker(list(map(Queue, listen)))
        worker.work()

from flask-rq2.

@lordcoste I'm afraid this is an issue I've only just now was able to fix, and sadly by doing a big refactor in #41. Make sure you set FLASK_APP correctly, or the RQ worker won't be able to locate the job correctly. This works for me now.

@Xanagandr Please don't write your own worker, but use the provider worker command flask rq worker.

from flask-rq2.
